A collective of artists, composers, performers and audio programmers dedicated to exploring the use of digital media in its interactions with instrumental music. Since its inception in 2001, EAR has developed a reputation for innovative performances of new works of Irish and international composers.

The group's repertoire has included pieces for different combinations of solo and ensemble musicians with live computer processing, as well as tape, video and music theatre works, emphasizing the cutting edge of contemporary music.
